Fashion designer Marc Jacobs married his partner Char Defrancesco at a star-studded ceremony in New York City.

Showing off the details of his attire as well as his wedding ring, Jacobs posted a photo on Instagram on Saturday (April 6), the day of the wedding.

“God is in the details. Sixties David Webb enameled lion head cuff links (and my wedding band)!” the post read.

Jacob’s husband Defrancesco is a candlemaker who may be recognised as the tattooed, muscular man often appearing in the designer’s Instagram account.

Fashion world celebrities such as Emily Ratajkowski, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss were guests at the wedding, People reported.

Campbell captured on Instagram the moment the couple cut their five-tier wedding cake. “BEST WEDDING EVER !! ETERNAL HAPPINESS I LOVE YOU BOTH MY CHOSEN FAMILY ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ ” she wrote.

“So happy to celebrate your marriage and love last night, it is so beautiful to see two people truly complete each other. Love you both so much.” top model Gigi Hadid wrote on Instagram congratulating the couple.

Her sister and fellow top model Bella Hadid also attended the wedding, writing in a, Instagram post: “Last night, above all, showed how truly loved you both are ❤️❤️❤️What a true blessing it was to be around you on your special day. You deserve all of this love, happiness and more!!! Never forget it !!! We love you Congratulations on a beautiful wedding !!!!!!”

Defrancesco is a Swiss-born Italian candlemaker who loves his homely comforts.

When asked about his dream vacation during an interview with The Cut, Defrancesco said: “The places to visit and things I want to do the most are right here at home—hanging with my friends, family, and dogs (not necessarily in that order.)”

In the interview, Defrancesco also said he enjoys working out to songs such as “Forever” by A$AP Rock, “Lemon – Drake Remix” by N.E.R.D. and Rihanna and “The Jump Off” by Lil Kim, and recently binge-watched hit show Killing Eve.

His Instagram account reveal he is a vaper. His favourite flavour is “Sticky Buns with a menthol squirt,” he told The Cut.

When did the couple get engaged?

The couple started dating in 2015 and got engaged in 2018, after Jacobs organised a flash mob to propose to his partner.

He had popped the question in a Chipotle restaurant, Defrancesco’s favourite place to eat.
