Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper perform Shallow at Oscars

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper just ensured there wasn’t a dry house in the house at the Oscars, or at home, with their moving rendition of “Shallow” at the Academy Awards.

The Oscar-nominated stars performed the hit song from A Star is Born on a piano and Gaga particularly looked overwhelmed by the moment.

The gorgeous performance was underpinned by searing looks between Gaga and Cooper, which got all of Twitter talking.

After the performance, the A Star is Born duo were met with an extra standing ovation from the audience:


“Shallow” wins best original song

“Shallow” picked up best original song at the Oscars.

A tearful Gaga accepted the award and told Cooper, “I couldn’t have sung this song with anyone but you.”

“She acts, she writes, she sings, we thank you, Lady Gaga,” said producer Mark Ronson.

Viewers at home thought there was palpable chemistry between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper during the emotional performance of “Shallow” at the Oscars.

“I’m officially accepting Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper into the lesbian canon due to their exceptional displays of yearning. Yearning is—and I can’t stress this enough—canonically lesbian,” wrote Jill Gutowitz.

Tyra Banks said she was “deeply touched” by the performance.

Arrow star Stephen Amell wrote:

Gaga is nominated for best actress at the Oscars, Cooper is nominated for best actor, and the film is up for best picture.
