Bollywood actress Flora Saini to star in Gandii Baat 2 lesbian Bollywood scene

Bollywood star Flora Saini will take part in a lesbian sex scene when she appears in Gandii Baat 2, leaked footage has revealed.

The second season of the Indian web series, which addresses a different sexual plot in each episode, is set to include a Bollywood lesbian story starring Saini and fellow Bollywood actress Anveshi Jain when it debuts on January 7.

After the since-deleted footage was made public, Saini tweeted that she “was not perturbed with [the] leak,” adding that she didn’t know how it had got out, “but I’m sure once [the] series releases on January 7, people will understand [the] relevance of [the] scene.”

The Bollywood favourite, who has acted in more than 50 films in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil, added that she “had a blast shooting it .”

“I am sad that the scene is being perceived with lust. People are ignoring the context.”

Saini also told daily newspaper Mid Day that despite what people were saying, the Bollywood lesbian clip was primarily about love, rather than sexual desire.

“I am sad that the scene is being perceived with lust,” she said. “People are ignoring the context.

“In this scene, emotions were running high. It was a celebration of love, unlike the sequences involving the men in the show.”

The Inside Edge actress added: “My director Sachin Mohite made me comfortable,” before revealing, “My mother was on the set when we shot it.”

Bollywood stars embrace lesbian storylines

The news of Saini and Jain’s scene came after the trailer for landmark lesbian Bollywood film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga—which translates to How I Felt When I Saw That Girldropped on Wednesday (December 26).

The film features Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor opposite her father Anil Kapoor, and marks the first time mainstream Indian cinema has embraced a same-sex romance on the big screen.

On February 1, 2019, less than five months after India’s Supreme Court overturned Section 377 and decriminalised gay sex, audiences will see Sonam Kapoor fall in love with a woman.

Her Punjabi family repeatedly attempts to find a man for her character, Sweety Chaudhary, but she declines all suitors because she’s secretly in love with Kuku, played by Regina Cassandra.

Sweety eventually comes out to her family and seeks their acceptance over the course of several heart-rending scenes.

The film, which has the same name as Anil Kapoor’s song from the 1994 blockbuster 1942: A Love Story, and also features Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla, will mark the first time that the Slumdog Millionaire star has appeared on screen with his daughter.
