Troye Sivan has helped a gay fan to propose to his boyfriend on stage at his concert.

The 23-year-old star came out on YouTube in 2013, and has since been a proud LGBT+ advocate.

He has won two GLAAD awards and proudly exhibited his sexuality, for instance by releasing “Bloom,” his song about gay sex, earlier this year.

And on Tuesday (October 9) night at New York City’s historic Radio City Music Hall, the Jewish musical sensation performed another good deed for the queer community. Thankfully, it was filmed.

The “My My My!” singer beckoned an audience member, Judah, on stage, before thanking him for “all the love and support” and asking if he had anything else he’d like to say.

“My boyfriend Daniel is here,” he told Sivan.

“Shall we get Daniel up here as well?” the singer responded, to cheers from the crowd.

When he saw him, Sivan said: “Oh my god, he’s also wearing a little kippah on his head!

“A nice Jewish boy!” he added in a voice you’d expect to hear from your elderly Jewish relatives.

The star said to the audience: “I would love to tell you that this was all just like, a happy accident,” before turning to Judah and adding: “But don’t you have something to say?”

“It’s just one question, really,” Judah told his hero.

At that point, he took Daniel’s hands, and — grinning ear to ear the entire time — took a ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee.

Thankfully, he said yes, and the pair embraced and kissed.

“Mazel tov!” Sivan told them, before hugging the ecstatic newly engaged couple.

The singer is far from the first to help same-sex partners create the perfect proposal, even in the past few months.

Last month, Christina Aguilera marked the first concert of her new tour by inviting a gay couple on stage to get engaged.

After performing the last song of her new album — a wedding song called “Unless It’s With You,” which includes the lyrics: “I don’t want to get married / Unless it’s with you” — she helped gay fan Ben Lear propose to his boyfriend, Mike Kontomanolis.

At the Reading Festival in August, Hannah Yates and Katie Greenaway were invited up on stage by North London rock group Wolf Alice for their magical moment.

And in July, Kesha — who yet again featured a same-sex wedding in her latest music video — helped fans Holly and Amanda get engaged on stage in Detroit.

Holly got down on one knee and popped the question to Amanda, who gladly accepted. The couple then kissed and hugged, with the 13,000 strong crowd applauding them.
