Lindsay Lohan follows family and tries to take child from mother in bizarre Instagram video

Lindsay Lohan has come under fire on social media after following a family around who she says are refugees, and trying to take one of the children from their mother.

The bizarre incident was broadcast by Lohan herself on Instagram live, where she could be seen approaching a family, who appear to be homeless, before offering to provide them with a hotel for the night.

However, as the family do not appear interested in Lohan’s offer, she becomes increasingly hostile.

She then goes on to accuse the parents of “trafficking” their children, and added: “I won’t leave until I take you. Now I know who you are. Don’t f**k with me.”

Parts of the broadcast can be viewed here on Twitter.

The 32-year-old Mean Girls star alternates between English and what appears to be Arabic in the video, and then tries to take one of the children from his parents.

“Do you want to stay in a hotel tonight? Do you want to watch movies? It would be so cool to watch a movie on a TV or a computer,” she told the boy.

In another part of the video, Lohan reprimands the mother, saying: “You should not have them on the floor, you should be a hard-working woman and you should be doing what you [can] for your children, so they have a better life.

“If someone is offering them a home and a bed, which is me at this moment, give it to them. They will come back to you. I’m a good person. This is not right,” she adds.

When the boys refuse to go with Lohan, she tells them that “the whole world is seeing this right now” and said that they “want to go” with her.

Towards the end of the video there appears to be a physical altercation between the woman and Lohan, with some suggesting that the mother punched Lohan.

Lohan has come under fire from fans and critics alike on social media for the bizarre Instagram moment.

Melissa Stetten, a retired model, tweeted: “Lindsay Lohan just posted an Instagram video of her trying to kidnap a boy in Russia.”

Another Twitter user, @aliceharan, called the video a “Black Mirror moment” and added: “Social media is getting weirder and weirder.”
