The Bi Life: When does new E! show starring Courtney Act start?

E! has just released the date for its upcoming dating show The Bi Life, which will be hosted by none other than Courtney Act.

The new series will focus entirely on bisexual singletons trying to find love. But will they?

Here’s everything you need to know about The Bi Life.

What is The Bi Life?

The Bi Life is the first bisexual dating programme where singletons will live together, party together and come together to understand the intricacies of dating by giving each other feedback on their experiences. The show will feature bisexual, pansexual and fluid people on their quest to find love. The show takes place in Barcelona.

Executive producer Ros Coward said a show as diverse as The Bi Life was “long overdue.”

The Bi Life is a modern dating show for a modern generation of daters and E! is the perfect home for it,” he added.

WHEN DOES IT AIR?

The Bi Life premieres on E! UK and Ireland on October 25.

A queen for a host

Host Courtney Act is no stranger to TV screens, as the drag queen was a runner up on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

“Yesterday was my first day as a reality TV ‘host,’ after 15 years in the mailroom I finally progressed to an executive position,” the star said on Twitter.

“It’s high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender,” Act said.

“In 2018, we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important,“ he added. “So get ready to see the true stories of bisexual singles, who are the largest part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the least known.”

A first look at the show features Act and a group of singletons all dressed in white being doused in purple, pink and blue paint—the colours of the bi flag.

It also features “Colours” by singer MNEK, who also shared his excitement on Twitter.

“thanks @courtneyact for using #COLOUR in the promo for #TheBiLife !” he wrote.
