TV host very upset about drag queens committing the ‘crime of sodomy’

The 700 Club host Pat Robertson

Christian TV host Pat Robertson is very upset about drag queens.

In a rant on his syndicated TV show The 700 Club, Robertson vented about the ‘Drag Queen Story Time’ events that have become popular as a way to promote literacy and storytelling.

In the clip picked up by Right Wing Watch, the fundamentalist TV preacher claimed: “It’s an outrage. Little teeny children as young as two years-old are being exposed cross-dressers, homosexuals who dress up as women and are so-called drag queens.

“That’s something maybe for some weird television show or something… but there’s a library where they’re hosting these events where men are dressed as women, they’ve got all kinds of make-up on.

“They’re men acting like women…they used to call them ‘he-shes’… but they’re reading books to children.

“Library officials say it fits their vision of inclusion and diversity. Give me a break.”

He continued: “If you read the Bible, there were a couple of cities where they actually, the men tried to have sex with angels who were male figures and God destroyed those cities.

“The crime, subsequent to that, was called sodomy.

“This whole thing is just an outrage…. it’s an affront in the eyes of God.

“I think that’s what we’re trying to do is stick our fingers in God’s eyes and say, ‘Okay Lord, you thought you were making people men and women, that’s what the Bible says, but we’re going to fix it so that we’re going to confuse the sexes, we’re going to confuse everything that you’re doing and then we’re going to murder… if we have offspring as a result of our sexual activity out of marriage, we’re going to kill the offspring.

“This was the original crime that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah, and the United States of America is on very slippery ground.”

He added: “How is God going to bless America if we put our finger in his eyes repeatedly? And that’s what we’re doing. It’s not just some library that is going to be in trouble, it’s the whole population when God brings judgment.”

Robertson, 88, has plenty of form on LGBT issues.

The TV preacher loves putting his overactive imagination to use talking about gay people – whether he’s complaining about how they are all going to be “thrusting” at him or getting upset with gays “getting drunk with the wine of fornication”.

Robertson recently revealed he spends a lot of time thinking about getting dominated by gay men.

Taking to the airwaves, the long-serving media personality warned that gay people had “dominated” the media, and “infiltrated” academia.

He said: “When you get down to it, Chritians are still the majority in this country, but we have given the ground to a small minority… you figure, lesbians, one percent of the population; homosexuals, two percent of the population. That’s all. That’s statistically all.

“But they have dominated, dominated the media! They’ve dominated the cultural shift and they have infiltrated the major universities. It’s just unbelievable what’s being done.

“A tiny, tiny minority makes a huge difference. The majority… it’s time it wakes up.”

The host attracted fury following the Orlando Massacre in 2016 when he called on evangelicals to “sit back” and let gay people and Muslims wipe eachother out.

Robertson also previously claimed that gay people aren’t capable of feeling love unless they repent their homosexual sins.
