Man threatens to ‘blow up’ lesbian’s house, after getting rejected

A man from Florida, USA, reportedly threatened to blow up a lesbian’s house after she turned down his advances.

Nicholas Chew, 41, from Marathon in Florida Keys, was arrested on Saturday (August 4).

A police report stated that Chew sent the unnamed woman a text, asking her to sleep with him, without telling his girlfriend, reports Miami Herald.

The 37-year old woman, who reportedly knows Chew and is a friend of his girlfriend, responded: “You do know I’m gay, right?”

The conversation then got heated, with Chew telling her:  “I will blow your f***ing house up.”

The woman allegedly told police that she was scared of going home following Chew’s message, and that she was shocked by the incident.

Chew, who claimed that the incident was a joke,  reportedly told police that the woman was a threat to his relationship.

According to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office’s website, Chew was released on Monday (August 6).

The incident comes after CCTV footage was recently released showing a man jumped onto a lesbian’s car, smashing her windscreen, and later attacking her, after she refused his advances in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bailey Cantrell was at a petrol station in Nashville, Tennessee, when the man approached her.

“My friend had gone into the gas station to get something and I was waiting outside, and this man approached me and was asking for my phone number and was calling me all these names,” she told local station Wave3 News.

“After I declined, still a little bit mad, then the second I declined the third time and said ‘I’m gay, I’m just not interested,’ that’s when it triggered him and he got very aggressive,” Cantrell said.

In footage taken by a security camera, the man can be seen suddenly jumping onto Cantrell’s car and kicking in her windscreen.

Panicking, she reverses her car but the man follows and begins kicking the car windows.

Cantrell then gets out of her car and is attacked by the man.

“The only thing I was thinking while this was going on is he might have a weapon, he might have a knife, a gun, I don’t know. So pretty much just flailing every limb to get out of his grip,” she said.
