Alex Jones punished by YouTube for saying drag queens are ‘demons’

YouTube has handed conspiracy theorist Alex Jones a strike and removed four of his videos, including one in which he called drag queens “demons” who introduce kids to “satanic rituals.”

The alt-right host’s InfoWars channel, which has more than 2.4 million subscribers, will be taken down permanently if it gets two more strikes in the next three months.

Jones wrote on Twitter that “YouTube has removed four Infowars videos that were critical of liberalism,” before directing his followers to watch them on the InfoWars website.

The videos include two which attack immigrants to Europe, one with the slogan “Prevent Liberalism: Wear Condoms” which shows a man pushing over a child, and the vicious attack on drag queens.

In the video about Drag Tots, a kids’ show produced by RuPaul and starring Bianca Del Rio, Adore Delano and Latrice Royale, Jones said drag queens were “soul-sucked fallen slaves” who should be burned alive.

He went on to call drag “a celebration of hideousness” before putting on a monstrous voice while pretending to be a drag queen, saying: “Your kids belong to us.”

He later threatened drag queens, telling his viewers: “They now know fear, because we’re coming like the villagers in the night, with the torches burning bright, with fire.

“Fire is not the weapon of evil, fire is the weapon of good, and it will consume you,” added Jones, before laughing maniacally.

“Soon the icy cold of Hell will embrace you forever. Soon you will pass through and on, never to return to this dimension, never to ascend, but down, down, down, down, down, down, down into that black hole you’re going, chained.”

A YouTube spokesperson told Reuters that they would not comment about the specific videos, but said: “We have longstanding policies against child endangerment and hate speech.

“We apply our policies consistently according to the content in the videos, regardless of the speaker or the channel.

“We also have a clear three-strikes policy and we terminate channels when they receive three strikes in three months.”

Videos from the past week with titles like “BREAKING: CIA Admits Transgenderism Is A Plan To Depopulate Humanity” and “The Origins Of Transgenderism Revealed” remain on Jones’s channel.

Jones, who now cannot livestream on his channel for 90 days, received two strikes from YouTube earlier this year after repeatedly questioning the details of the mass shooting at Florida’s Stoneman Douglas High School in February, which left 17 dead.

After the site removed Jones’s video, titled “David Hogg Can’t Remember His Lines In TV Interview,” he begged Hogg, a survivor who he had accused of being a crisis actor, to come on his show.

He said: “Mr Hogg, in your name CNN has shut down my speech on YouTube. It is critical that you come out and support the 1st Amendment and not let them use you to end free speech.”

The fringe fantasist, who interviewed President Donald Trump shortly after he was elected, claimed that butch lesbians were predisposed to domestic violence and eating brains last year.

Jones also accused trans rights activists – who he said were mentally ill – of creating cyborgs to destroy civilisation.
