RuPaul has hit out at the creators of a billboard which depicts President Donald Trump in the middle of two nuclear explosions and dollar symbols made to look like Nazi symbolism.

The TV host shared the image on Twitter with the caption: “STOP trying to shame him. You cannot shame the shameless. Way past time for a different approach. #FollowTheMoney”

One user named @sara_eades agreed and wrote: “Narcissistic ppl get off on being shamed. They see all attention whether it be negative or positive as a good thing. They get off on it. Best thing to do is dont give him the attention he craves [sic]”

While others didn’t fully agree with the celebrity. Tweeter @pauliestorey said: “Can we just shame him for fun and follow the money for serious results? Best of both world? [sic]”

The artist behind the billboard, Karen Fiorito, said she had been inundated with “hate” since it was first unveiled on 17 March in Phoenix, Arizona.

According to the Independent, The image was commissioned by Phoenix-based art gallery, La Melgosa, to protest against Donald Trump’s plans to build a border wall on the Mexican border, step up efforts to deport all illegal immigrants with criminal records and ban citizens from six Muslim-majority countries from entering the US.

It’s not the first time RuPaul has hit out at the current President of the United States. The drag queen often uses his Twitter account to slam the politician.

Following the Republican’s win as president-elect RuPaul compared Trump’s presidency to Hitler during a Twitter rant.

The drag extraordinaire had a lot to say on the soon to be president, but mostly made a point about understanding how Germany let Hitler come into power.

Before Trump was elected, The Emmy award-winner backed Hillary Clinton in a video which he ended with the message that was a popular slogan throughout the campaign, “I’m with her”.
