Worst Drag Race ever? Twitter reacts to latest episode’s shock elimination (spoiler alert)

This week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race has caused quite a stir – and not all fans are happy about the shock elimination of a favourite to win Season 10.

The remaining contestants were tasked with channelling their inner-saboteurs, a concept RuPaul has discussed throughout Drag Race when discussing overcoming self-doubt and finding confidence.

“I always see my saboteur in my peripheral vision,” RuPaul says. “What you say to your saboteur is ‘OK! Thanks for sharing!’”

To prove she has an inner saboteur, “RudePaul” then makes an entrance, shouting and swearing.

For the maxi challenge, the five remaining queens had to present their “good” and “bad” sides on the runway. The mini challenge required them to decorate a pancake in edible drag.

While some contestants embraced their “evil twin” and came up with personal, reflective responses about their strengths and weaknesses, others struggled.

Miz Cracker and Kameron Michaels ended up in the bottom, lip syncing to “Nasty Girl” by Vanity 6.

“Right now, it’s RuPaul’s Conquer Your Inner Saboteur Race,” Cracker says. “Kameron and I are neck and neck, trying to defeat ourselves so that we can get to the challenge.”

As it was Kameron’s third time lip syncing for her life, fans expected Cracker to be saved – but this was not the case, and people aren’t happy.

Faced with elimination, Kameron managed to impress the judges with new moves, away from her usual splits, which saw her go through to the next episode.

Next week, Kameron will go up against the other three final contestants, Aquaria, Asia O’Hara and Eureka.

Unsurprisingly, fans took to Twitter to express their mixed feelings. While some thought Kameron’s success was deserved, others did not – and wanted Cracker to stay, particularly as it was her first time at the bottom.
