Woman shouts anti-gay slurs and pulls gun over two-minute wait for McDonald’s fries

A woman reportedly shouted anti-gay slurs and pulled a gun at McDonald’s employees over a two-minute wait for a portion of small fries.

The incident took place at a drive-thru in Albany, New York, on Saturday evening, reports the New York Post

According to the paper, the unnamed woman had been waiting for a small portion of fries for two minutes when staff asked her to pull up in a parking lot so that they could bring the fries over to her.

The woman is claimed to have then launched into a tirade of verbal threats and homophobic slurs at McDonald’s workers, before threatening them with a gun.

The branch’s manager Robin Perez told New York Post: “She was like, ‘f**k you!’ She was very upset and wouldn’t park. She was arguing and called my employee a ‘f****t.’”

Perez said the woman even threw her slushy at the drive-thru window.

“She came inside the store screaming and shouting, cursing people out,” he added.

The woman then allegedly walked out of the restaurant back into the drive-thru, where she took out a black handgun from her waistband and brandished it at the manager.

“It was quite intense,” Perez added. “Everyone was shaken up.”

The woman’s friend, who was in the car at the time, managed to calm her down before the two subsequently left.
