Kevin McHale and his boyfriend seem to have made it Instagram official and it’s adorable

Glee star Kevin McHale seems to have made his rumoured relationship with actor Austin McKenzie Instagram official.

Last month, McHale – who rose to prominence as wheelchair-bound singer Artie Abrams – was congratulated by fans who saw his photo of one hand on top of another person’s hand as a coming out post.

The other hand was said to belong to McKenzie, who has starred in the Deaf West Theatre’s production of Spring Awakening, and new posts seem to have confirmed this theory.

Over the weekend, McHale shared an adorable shot of him and McKenzie cuddling up with each other with the simple caption “#mycoachella.”

We don’t know about you, but that seems like a pretty good reason to miss a music festival.

The pair also helped out at homeless charity the Los Angeles Mission last week, with the 29-year-old former Glee actor captioning the photo with the sweet message: “Thank you to @thelamission for doing the important work they do and for letting us join you for #skidroweaster yesterday.”

“You all are incredible,” McHale added.

The sight of the pair openly embracing each other and their relationship has delighted fans.

One wrote: “so happy for you guys wish you nothing but the best and complete amazingness and love.”

Another said simply: “How do I love this pic a million times.”

“Omg whaaaaa…… Its a boy omg this makes me so happy,” said one fan.

And another supporter was equally encouraged by the same-sex relationship, writing: “So happy for you.

“I know you won’t read this but it makes my heart soar knowing you are like me.”

The original post also made fans of both stars ecstatic.

The pair both featured in When We Rise, a 2017 TV miniseries created by Dustin Lance Black that told the story of the struggle for LGBT equality in the US.

McKenzie, who garnered three Tony Award nominations for his performance in Spring Awakening, has a degree in American Sign Language (ASL) and uses it onstage.

So it was perhaps significant that McHale used a single emoji for the caption, writing: ” .”

This hand gesture translates as “I love you” in ASL.

And its importance was not lost on fans of the 29-year-old actor, who welcomed and praised the star on his photo.

“I NEVER KNEW HE WAS GAY WTF,” wrote one fan.

Last year, former Glee actor and singer Jake Zyrus came out as transgender.

Zyrus began work on the hit show in its second season, starring in the role of Sunshine Corazon, a foreign exchange student.
