These stunning glo-ups that will blow your socks off

Participants use a phone to take a selfie at the opening event of the annual Gay Pride parade in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, on June 3, 2016. A carefree and cosmopolitan crowd of tens of thousands of homosexuals, transsexuals and supporters took part it the Gay Pride in Tel Aviv, deemed one of the largest in the world where amid the crowd, tourists waved large flags of their country of origin to signify their presence in a city known as a rare oasis for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender) in the Middle East. / AFP / JACK GUEZ (Photo credit should read JACK GUEZ/AFP/Getty Images)

Oh, the growing pains of youth.

We all remember the backne, the bad spectacles, the awkwardly positioned teeth, and the blistering romantic rejection that haunted our adolescent days.

But then, we emerged, like butterflies from the chrysalis, ready to take on whatever terrible problems the world threw at us with a significantly more attractive face.

This, my friends, is what the friends in the bizz call a ‘glo-up’ – and the beautiful masses are sharing their physical rejuvenation on Twitter to celebrate this miraculous process.

Compiled in one artful Twitter moment, these glo-ups deserve one mighty round of applause.

“THE GLO UP WAS REAL! ☠️ 2012 vs 2018 ✨ ” tweeted @sorryimangiiee when she shared this snap.

“At 18 I looked 15 and now at 23 I look 18,” joked @cheyeperedo.

“Y’all, I got hot,” said @petcatslonghair.

And @codyxhighroller wrote nothing but the date next to their marvellous transformation.

“2012 vs 2018 HAHAHHAHAHAHAH,” wrote @humanstrawberry.

“2012 ➡️ 2018 Lmaoooooooooo,” tweeted @XLukaKillianX.

“2012: DOG, 2018: ANOTHER DOG,” shared @sarryxpotter.

And of course, the best thing about this whole process isn’t necessarily the aesthetic enhancement – it’s just how good everyone is feeling in their own skin.

But hell, here’s a before and after from yours truly:

PinkNews reader, may the years be good to you.
