There’s a secret Cher track you may never hear because of Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli
Cher’s Twitter is a playground of confusion.
Littered with some choice emoji’s and the best Trump insults, the singer utilises her Twitter account to equally entertain and confuse her fans.
In 2014, the 71-year-old wrote one of her most bewildering tweets yet: “Wu-Tang Cher Clan”.
At the time, the tweet sparked rumours that the artist was working with the American hip hop collective, Wu-Tang Clan.
The rumours died down but they’ve been sparked once again by rapper U-God, a member of the group.
Real name Lamont Jody Hawkins, the rapper told TMZ that he and Redman reportedly worked on a track with Cher.
“It’s crazy ’cause me and Redman got a song with Cher on there,” he said.
However, the song is on the album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.
Only one version of the album exists and it is in the purchase of Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli.
Shkreli, who garnered the name “Pharma bro” after hiking the price of an AIDS drug by 5500 percent, purchased the album in 2015 for two million dollars.
Because of the terms of the sale, the owner of the album can legally do what they want with it other than releasing it commercially because there is an 88-year ban on it.
The exec allegedly sold the album, which came in a silver-and-nickel-plated box with 174-page liner notes bound by hand in leather, on eBay last year.
His claims have not been corroborated though as the new buyer has not stepped forward and Shkreli did not provide any evidence of actually handing it over.
If Shkreli does have it in his possession then he won’t for long because he has been ordered to pay out over seven million dollars in reparations after being found guilty of manipulating the stock price of his company, Retrophin.
He was also found to have lied to investors about the success of two hedge funds that he manages.
The disgraced executive has claimed that he is cash poor, which means he will have to hand over “substitute assets” to the government.

Because Once Upon a Time in Shaolin is worth two million dollars, it will be seized by feds – if Shkreli did have it in his possession he would have to hand over the money, but again, he is “cash poor”.
A painting by Pablo Picasso, an unreleased Lil Wayne album, five million dollars held in an E-Trade brokerage account and his shares in Vyera Pharmaceuticals will also have to be handed over.
The assets will likely be auctioned of to the highest bidder.
Hopefully, that bidder will fight the good fight and upload the album for free and allow Wu-Tang Cher Clan to live on.
