Nancy Pelosi debuts on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 and she’s loving it

Nancy Pelosi has debuted on the third series of RuPaul’s All Stars as a guest judge on the show.

Senate Minority Leader Pelosi, a life-long supporter of LGBT rights, appears to be loving her time on the show in a new clip released ahead of the upcoming episode.

Pelosi offers advice and guidance to the drag queen elite and even makes an appearance in the workroom.

Pelosi, who is said to be a big fan of the show, had “a fabulous time” on set, according to a spokesperson from the show.

And Pelosi wasn’t shy to spill the tea while meeting the queens.

“People sacrifice so much in our country for people to have the right to vote,” Pelosi says.

“It’s a blessing. But we have to use it. If you don’t vote, you don’t count — and you count.”

Pelosi even makes an appearance in the workroom alongside host, RuPaul, during the All Stars episode.

“I’m honored to be here. You’re an inspiration, I hope you know, because you really know your power,” Pelosi says.

“It’s about taking pride, and that’s what you do.”

The remaining queens in the season seemed visibly shocked by the Democratic politician joining the show.

“Nancy Pelosi? I’m dying,” Morgan McMichaels says.

She adds: “I just want to say thank you to her, I just want to hug her. Nancy Pelosi is spearheading the way through.”

Trixie Mattel was also pleased to be joined by the long-serving congresswoman.

“Every time you get in drag, you’re making a political statement,” she says.

“We live in a world where a high-power politician will walk into the workroom. That makes me feel hopeful.”

The competition this season has included Aja (season nine), BenDeLaCreme (season six), Chi Chi DeVayne (season eight), Kennedy Davenport (season seven), Milk (season six), Morgan McMichaels (season two), Shangela (seasons two & three), Thorgy Thor (season eight) and Trixie Mattel (season seven).

This will be the politician’s reality show debut.

Although she has previously starred in 30 Rock as herself, the Congresswoman has tended to steer away from the shining world of entertainment.
