Trans lottery winner Melissa Ede spends thousands on transforming her face

Transgender millionaire Melissa Ede has spent thousands of pounds on reconstructive procedures to change her face.

Ede, who came to riches after winning four million pounds on a scratch card last year has shared images of her new look.

The 57-year-old has spent over £3,000 to “feminise” her face.

She has had botox, cheek and lip fillers and dermabrasion which removes “superficial layers of skin”.

She also had fillers under her eyes, had her brows lifted and undergone jowl treatment.

Jowl is a non-surgical procedure in which a laser is used.

“It’s like a laser treatment I had jowl around my chin area.

“There’s a big difference. It’s completely lifted it.

“It carries on working for about six weeks. It carries on lifting more and more,” Ede explained.

Her fiance, Rachel Nelson, said they were both overjoyed about the outcome of the surgery.

“It’s made a massive difference.

“Her face has a shape to it now instead of just hanging.

“I’m just waiting for her to say, ‘I just want a head transplant’ and I think she will be happy,” she joked.

The taxi driver is planning to get more work in the future but she’s already beginning to feel better about her appearance.

She said: “I want to get a nose job done and the teeth.

“I’ve been looking at something called facial feminisation surgery.

“I’ll see how I feel once the teeth and everything have gone in.

“I just want to feel younger, fresher and more feminine.”

Ede won her fortune on a £10 scratch card.

She said it “just caught my eye” at a petrol station on her way to work – before finding out that she no longer needed to go to work.

She said that she would keep her riches at first, turning her back on her children after they abandoned her when she came out as trans in 2011.

Her four grown-up children – aged 19, 29, 30 and 39 – turned their backs on her 12 years ago because of her trans identity.

When she won the windfall which led her to quit her job, she announced her intention to leave the kids with nothing.

She has since u-turned on the decision and said that she will leave a portion of her riches to her offspring in her will.

“I’m still of the feeling nobody can walk back in my life and get money.

“But I’d like it eventually given to them, and they can have a little joy too.

“I’ll be meeting up with them and will leave them money. If they hang about in my life they’ll get treated,” she said.
