Vivienne Westwood’s SS18 campaign features Drag Race queen Milk and fans are thrilled

Vivienne Westwood’s latest campaign features a collection of New York’s club kids including RuPaul’s Drag Race star Milk.

To celebrate the first Vivienne Westwood store opening in New York, Vivienne Westwood, Andreas Kronthaler and Juergen Teller hosted an exhibition displaying images they have created over the last 20 years.

A cast of club kids attended the party and Andreas Kronthaler thought they looked so great he decided they would be the subject of the brand’s Spring/Summer 18 campaign.

Milk posted two pictures from the campaign and added a caption saying: “incredibly honored [sic] and grateful to be a part of a campaign celebrating freedom and rebellion!

“Thank you so much, Vivienne and Andreas!

“Also, working with Juergen Teller was a dream come true, adore the real and raw imagery he captures…also he is ultimate daddy level!”

The campaign was shot on the roof of the exhibition space by Juergen Teller and fans are loving the brand’s choice to include Milk.

Since gaining worldwide recognition in season six of RuPaul’s Drag race, Milk (Dan Donnigan) has featured in a number of fashion campaigns both in and out of drag.
