I tell you what we want what we really really want – it’s a Spice Girls reunion.
Forgive me, but there’s something pretty special about the Spice Girls all being in the same room for one rare occasion.
Although we might have forgotten who has fallen out with who (never pick between the Mels) it appears that the gang are happy to share the same airspace and want you to know it – with ex-band member Gerri Halliwell included.
Posting on the time-sucker and social media flavour of the year Instagram, Victoria Beckham posted the picture captioned with ‘Love my girls!!! So many kisses!!! X Exciting x.’
After reports have claimed that the fivesome have a £50 million reunion on the cards, it appears that the snap might be the indication of the start of something renewed.
The group have been seen cavorting at Halliwell’s mansion in Hertfordshire, later joined by manager Simon Fuller in another sighting.
This comes nearly two years after Emma, Geri and Mel B reunited as a three-piece called GEM – but it didn’t last long.
Although we cannot contain our excitement at the group getting back together – arena tour, anyone? – we do wonder how they’re going to fit it around their post-band hectic schedules.
While VB is busy dominating the fashion industry with her clothing empire, the likes of Mel B are well known for their judging stints on Britain’s Got Talent, while the others are juggling radio shows alongside recording music.
We hope that the girls are least getting a savvy deal unlike their contemporaries S Club 7.
In a bid to secure some funds, band member Paul Cattermole recently attempted to sell his Brit award to make some money after he received a rough deal during his time in the group.
Although one enthusiastic eBay bidder offered £66,000 for the accolade, he failed to pay up, which has resulted in Cattermole reselling it on the online bidding site.
