Courtney Act has been saved from eviction on Celebrity Big Brother after a shock triple nomination on Thursday.

During Friday’s triple eviction, housemates Andrew Brady, Daniel O’Reilly and Jonny Mitchell were removed from Celebrity Big Brother after a public vote.

Apprentice star Andrew Brady was the first celebrity to leave the house on Friday, after receiving the fewest votes.

Host Emma Willis asked Andrew whether he thought his recent arguments with Ann Widdecombe had contributed to his departure.

Andrew hit back at Ann’s views on same-sex marriage after the former MP nominated him and Courtney for eviction.

Speaking in the Diary Room, he labelled the former Tory MP’s attitudes on social issues as “evil”, and later called the 70-year-old a “c**t”.

Andrew said after his eviction that his words were “out of order” but maintained that he would be ashamed of Ann if he was related to her with the opinions she holds.

Moving onto his relationship with Courtney, Andrew was full of compliments for the drag star.

He said: “Courtney has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met, I’ve got so much admiration for him.”

Emma then asked whether Andrew had ever mixed up Shane and Courtney and whether he wanted to have sex with Courtney in drag.

Andrew said no, saying: “I knew I’d have to unstrap his penis from his bum.”

Love Island star Jonny Mitchell became the second to leave on Friday.

Speaking to Emma Willis after his eviction, Jonny defended Ann Widdecombe from the recent backlash, saying that he had a ‘soft spot’ for the 70-year-old.

He said: “I think she’s a lovely lady.

“Ann has certain views and opinions that I personally don’t agree with but the fact is she has the right to have that.”

Ann Widdecombe has often caused controversy within the Big Brother house due to her views on social issues, particularly her opposition to same-sex marriage.

Her fellow housemates have called the former MP ‘intimidating’, with former housemate Rachel Johnson even branding her a ‘misogynist.’

Daniel O’Reilly became the third and final housemate to leave during the triple eviction.

In his exit interview, he praised Courtney for her performance on the show and said he was happy to have lost to her.

He said: “Courtney stands for a lot more in regards to the format of the show and entertainment factor.

“If I’d lost to Jonny, I’d be annoyed. As it was Courtney, I’ll be alright.”

In a twist move, Daniel proposed in the middle of his interview to his girlfriend Shelley.

Daniel reflected on his many controversial jokes on the show, saying that he was aware of the cameras (and of Ann Widdecombe.)

He said: “I usually go for the lowest denomination of comedy. I learned a lot about why the women in there got offended.

“It’s one thing being called a dick, it’s another being told why you’re a dick.”

The comedian then backed Ann Widdecombe to win the show.

Daniel, formerly known by his stage persona of Dapper Laughs, caused controversy during his time in the big brother house.

The former Vine star was accused of homophobic and misogynistic comments after calling Jess Impiazzi and Ashley James “f**king lesbians” when they said they wouldn’t date him.

With eight housemates remaining, Courtney is now the second favourite to win.

Ann Widdecombe has surprised many after she stormed to 7/4 odds of winning the celebrity reality show next Friday.
