Piers Morgan calls Brits ‘utter halfwits’ for scaring President Donald Trump away

Prominent transphobe Piers Morgan has lashed out at Britain after President Donald Trump backed out of visiting the country.

The Good Morning Britain host, who spent 2017 attacking non-binary people, genderfluid people and JK Rowling, used his considerable social media platform to defend the incredibly anti-LGBT Trump.

Trump, who, it was revealed this week, has allegedly invited porn stars for a bisexual threesome, cancelled his visit to London on Thursday.

The President said his decision was down to the US embassy moving from north to south London, which he called a “bad deal”.

But mass protests were expected during Trump’s visit, with many Londoners planning protests months in advance due to his many horrendous stances, including the proposed ban on transgender people in the military and his support for homophobe and alleged child molester Roy Moore.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan welcomed the news of the cancelled visit, adding it was clear that Trump had “got the message” that he was not welcome in the UK.

But Piers had a different approach.

He tweeted: “So smart of Britain to alienate the President of the United States – leader of the world’s No1 superpower & our most important ally.

“Congrats everyone who contributed to this gloriously self-defeating state of affairs – you complete & utter halfwits.”

Safe to say, people weren’t happy with being attacked, whether or not they had played a part in scaring Trump off.

One said: “Some things are worth a bit of pain I think.

“On Martin Luther King Day it’s good to know a mad, dangerous racist hasn’t been red carpeted into our country.”

Another person used extremely British language to show their displeasure with Piers.

“He alienated himself. And not just from us in the UK. 128 votes in favour of the UN resolution against Trump in December for example,” they said.

“You’re willing to turn a blind eye to his atrocious behaviour. How un-British!

“You complete and utter less-than-a-quarterwit.”

One user responded to Piers: “It’s called integrity.

“There were those in late 1930’s who argued we should suck up to Hitler btw.

“And Trump treats his friends even worse than his foes, ask Bannon etc”.

And another said: “We have standards and morals.

“Sometimes you have to stand up for your principles even if it makes things difficult.”
