A candidate for the Texas GOP has said that he would “gladly execute a convicted sodomite” before citing Biblical law on homosexuals.

Republican candidate Larry Kilgore made the comments on Twitter earlier this week.

He wrote: “I’d gladly execute a convicted adulterer, sodomite or bestialiter [sic].

“Biblical law is a blessin [sic],” he added.

It isn’t the first time the candidate, who changed his name to Larry SECEDE Kilgore in 2012, has expressed homophobic views.

In 2014, he said that he believed LGBTQ+ people should be put to death.

Kilgore wrote the words as he shared a post from The Activist Mommy on Facebook.

The link was about alleged “animal brothels” in Germany.

The Activist Mommy page is run by Christian mother, Elizabeth Johnston.

Earlier this year, Johnston filmed herself burning a copy of Teen Vogue magazine after it included articles about anal sex and homosexuality.

She said in the video: “I cannot believe what this Teen Vogue piece of trash has printed.

“They are teaching children how to be safely sodomized. They are teaching kids how to have anal intercourse. We should not be teaching children, period, how to have sex.”

“Look at what’s in this magazine for teenagers. How to masturbate, all about homosexual sex, gender fluidity.

Looking at a picture of Lena Dunham wearing a suit, she adds: “Oh yeah, real role models for our teenagers!”

The mother said: “Go to your local gas stations, your local libraries, your local grocery stores, ask to speak to the manager or owner, and demand they remove Teen Vogue from the shelves immediately.

“These editors’ brains are in the gutter, now let’s put their sales in the gutter where they belong. Don’t let your kids read garbage.”
