Sam Smith and 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn have made their relationship Instagram official

Sam Smith and Brandon Flynn seem to have made their relationship Instagram official.

Rumours have been swirling around the pair for months, after they were photographed kissing in New York City.

Flynn, who burst into the public consciousness with his breakout performance in Netflix’s hit show 13 Reasons Why, came out in an emotional Instagram post earlier this year.

Writing after he saw the Australian anti-same-sex-marriage campaign’s “vote no” message in the sky above Sydney, he said that
“we’ve been scared s***less our whole lives thanks to all the stigmas that surround Us”.

Flynn, 24, added: “We’ve fought, we’ve come out bravely even in our fear, and you wrote a message in the sky because you’re scared.

“Equality takes courage, it worries me that too many people in this world lack the balls to stand up for what is right. #f***hate”

Smith, who has released five number-one singles and two number-one albums, then sent the internet into a frenzy when he was pictured kissing Flynn.

The multi-platinum selling artist had denied dating anyone as recently as two weeks before that.

The 25-year-old British singer then opened up about his new-found romance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He revealed he had been unlucky in love throughout writing his new album The Thrill of It All.

When asked if he was single, Smith gushed: “No I’m not, which is crazy!

“It’s weird bringing out an album and not being single. When I brought out In The Lonely Hour I was so lonely.

“But now I’m singing songs about this other guy, but I’m quite happy.”

And it seems that the stars are still together a couple of months later – just in time for Christmas.

Flynn posted a picture of the two on Instagram, with both of them dressed in unicorn hats.

The caption read: “Rare sighting in London “.

“Finally “, wrote one fan, while another commented: “FINALLY MY LORDDD”.
