Aaron Carter has revealed that he is finally ready to have a relationship with a man.

The musician, who came out as bisexual earlier this year, revealed on the LGBTQ&A podcast that he was beginning to embrace his sexuality after a difficult coming out period.

However, the 30-year-old admitted that he was still dealing with some confusion as being part of the community still feels “new”.

“I’m just still confused about it… about bisexuality.

“I definitely embrace my bisexuality and, you know, it’s still new to me.”

“I just started talking about it, really.

“I have my confusions and I’m still learning about the community.

“Who know what the future has to bring, whether it’s a relationship with a guy, I don’t have a problem with that.

It’s something that I’ve already thought about for the album after this one.

“It’s already been thought through.”

The revelation comes after the child pop star came out in August, and was met with a negative reaction from his fans sparking him to close his social media accounts.

He said at the time: “Life, it was pretty tough. I dealt with a lot of trauma, a lot of loss, a lot of loneliness.

“I just felt like I needed to get away,” he added.

Carter originally said that he did not want a relationship with a man.

Back Street Boy’s Nick Carter, also reportedly never got in touch with his brother after he came out.

“I love Nick but he can be a punk sometimes. But I will be in his corner no matter what.

“I love my brother and I really hope he’s just happy, healthy, doing the same thing and focussing on his career,” Carter explained.

In the weeks following Carter was admitted to rehab, and broke up with his girlfriend. He has since been released and has started to make music once again.

The star recently turned 30 and he revealed that he feared he would not make the landmark birthday because of his battles with his poor health and addiction.

Carter now has a more positive outlook on life as he is planning to meet someone, settle down and start a family.

“I turned 30 and I’m like ‘alright, my resolution is to have a kid’. But not just a kid. A beautiful woman or man, because we can have kids too. But it has to be with the right person.

“I was thinking about adopting. I want kids so bad. My goal is to be a father,” he added.
