Two men from New York added a woman into their relationship after meeting her online.

Chris, 38 and Matt Brandt, 28, from New York, have been together for 8 years and the two men invited Cait Earnest, 28 into a relationship after meeting her on a dating app in 2015.

With all three now living together, they say they want to look into adopting children.

Chris, who identifies as bisexual asked Matt if he would be open to involving a woman in their relationship because he had never been with a woman before.

Chris explained: “Matthew had never had any experience with women before he’d met me. And before I met Matthew I had dated quite a few girls and quite a few guys.”

“I suggested to Chris, ‘How would you feel about involving a woman in some fashion?’”

While Matt was against the idea initially, he eventually got on board and they soon met Cait, who they immediately experienced a connection with.

Chris said: “The three of us started to spend more and more time together and after about seven or eight months she was staying over five nights a week.”

Cait and Chris both identify as bisexual, whereas Matt identifies as “homoflexible”, which he explained means that he is more attracted to men but open to being with women.

Chris explained “I guess I had an awakening after I had a sexual experience with a woman. It is just another body, another soul, a connection that I can have.”

Both Matt and Cait admitted to feeling jealous of the other, as they both pined for Chris’s attention. However, they told the Daily Mail that as their relationship grew they came to accept their own positions within it.

Cait told The Sun: “When we meet somebody at a bar I will usually say “hi, I’m Cait and these are my two boyfriends.” People often ask if I’m joking.”

She also opened up about the thruple’s sex life, saying “I had never been with two people at the same time before. It’s different strokes for different folks but I would say it’s a pretty fun sex life.”

The thruple believe that any child would be “lucky” to have three parents, and said they are thinking about adopting their own in the future, however Matt did say that, for now, they are fine with their two dogs.
