Paloma Faith says she will raise all her kids gender-neutral
Pop star Paloma Faith has spoken out about plans to raise her kids gender-neutral.
The ‘New York’ star has been extremely secretive since giving birth in December.
She has not refused the name of her first child with boyfriend Leyman Lahcine.
And in a new interview with the Mirror, Faith has said she plans to raise all of her children gender-neutral.
She told the Mirror: “I’m loving being a mum.
“I want two or three kids in all and they’ll be gender neutral.”
Going on, she said she planned to dress her kids in gender-neutral colours.
She continues: “I just want them to be who they want to be.”
Faith spoke to the Mirror ahead the launch of her new album ‘Architect’ next month.
The former Voice judge criticised the show for its gender-imbalance of its judging panel.
She said: “I’m really p***** off about it. Two women and two men is equal, right?”
A spate of transphobic posters last week appeared in East London offering a ‘gender-neutral dog walking service’ for ‘gender-fluid canines.’
Contrary to dogs, people are able to have a gender, due to the ability to identify a sense of self.
People are also able to express their gender through a variety of ways including clothing and hairstyles.
Gender-fluid people also exist and are typically defined as people whose gender identity is not fixed and fluctuates over time.
Several people, including TV host Piers Morgan, have been criticised in recent months for their discussion of non-binary and gender-fluid people and rights.
