A new trailer has been released for the reboot of Will & Grace – and watch out guys, Jack has discovered Grindr.

The legendary NBC sitcom is set to make a return on September 28 for a new season, more than a decade on from its original air date.

However, things have definitely changed as Will, Grace, Jack and Karen deal with the world in 2017.

For one thing, Jack and Will have discovered the joys of Grindr.

A clip released this week shows the pair looking through the famous gay hook-up app.

Jack exclaims: “Grindr has gotten so skanky. I feel like I could get finger-herpes just from scrolling!”

As Will sits next to him, Jack adds: “Ooh, there’s a gay guy within ten feet of me!”

Will & Grace

Meanwhile Will and Grace throw some shade while playing popular iPhone game Heads Up.

As Grace tries to guess the celebrity, Will explains: “Okay, he’s a man, but he’s aged into a lesbian.”

Grace guesses Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.

The show’s long-anticipated revival will see Will & Grace back on screens for a run of 16 episodes, and the show has already been renewed for a potential second comeback season.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally are all reprising their roles – though one original character will sadly be absent.

Messing has hinted that the show’s revival will tackle transgender issues.

She said: “It’s a whole new world now where being gay and lesbian is not something that people are hiding like they did when we started almost 20 years ago.

“I think that there’s an opportunity to now celebrate all the other initials of LGBTQ.

“It will be great to come out of this next round and feel like we’re normalizing an even larger segment of underrepresented people on prime-time television.”

The show will also address the Trump administration, after an election-themed episode that aired last year.

Messing added: “‘Will & Grace’ has always been political. It’s always dealt with what is happening in our culture and in our country. It’s absolutely going to be addressing in real time what’s happening.

“That’s what we always did. That was never the agenda but that’s just part of the DNA as a TV show. That’s not gonna change.”

She added: “I feel proud that we were able to finally represent the gay and lesbian community in mainstream media and change minds and hearts

“Of course, we couldn’t do everything all at once, but I think we pushed the ball very, very far down the field. Now, the goal post is in a different place and I think that there’s obviously more to go.”
