Princess Diana’s butler Paul Burrell to reveal all in televised therapy session

August 16, 2017

Princess Diana’s butler Paul Burrell is to reveal all in a TV therapy show.

The former royal aid, who came out as gay earlier this year, is to appear on Channel 5 show Therapy.

The explosive programme sees famous faces reveal their inner-most secrets to a trained therapist.

The therapy session is expected to see him reveal some of his deepest secrets.

It comes after he divorced from his wife of 32 years.

For almost all of his life he kept his sexuality secret.

Burrell went on to marry Graham Cooper, a man he’s apparently been seeing for a decade, earlier this year.

According to reports, his wife and children were supportive.

His former partner, however, reportedly did not attend.

The 57-year-old became famous after he wrote a tell-all book of his life with Princess Diana.

He went on to do TV shows all around the world, and appearances on reality TV shows I’m a Celebirty Get Me Out of Here and Celebrity Big Brother.

Burrell has been heavily criticised in the past for revealing royal secrets, however.

In October 2002 he was accused of stealing items from the royal household in a globally reported trial.

The Old Bailey trial collapsed at the last minute when the Queen personally intervened, remembering that Mr Burrell had told her he was safeguarding some of Princess Diana’s possessions.

He previously revealed that the Queen probably realised he was gay, despite saying he should marry a woman.

He also said that Buckingham Palace was the first time he met gay people, as there were many working there.

2017 marks 20 years since Princess Diana passed away, with a special statue being commissioned to mark the occasion.
