Ex-Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has kicked off a girlband war from the relative safety of the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Asked by Chad Johnson what she knew of Fifth Harmony, who have out singer Lauren Jauregui among their number, the singer immediately said “those slutty ones?”.

“They all wear next-to-nothing,” she continued in the video clip – which you can watch in full below.

“All the girl bands these days. Slutty slutty slutty. Sex sells, sex sells. Eurgh.”

She then went on to justify Girls Aloud’s own skimpy outfits during her girlband career.

“We wore… obviously when we were touring we didn’t wear much because it was so hot,” Harding said.

“But it’s when they do the videos and it’s all slut drops and twerking, come on.”

The Bachelorette star Johnson didn’t seem too impressed by her line of argument.

“You didn’t wear a lot because it was so hot?” he murmured. “Hmmmm.”

Harding continued: “We used to have proper dance routines – they just do slut drops nows… and they’re wearing little panties and stuff, like whoah.”

Naturally, Fifth Harmony fans were not impressed.

“Let’s be honest she is a nobody nowadays,” said one. “She’s a moody snake who has been exposed in cbb. she hasn’t even started never mind being over.”

“Fifth Harmony is worldwide famous. Sarah Harding is a person,” said another.

“Did y’all hear Sarah Harding Slut shaming Fifth Harmony?” added one Twitter user.

“It’s disgusting women should not slut shame women! When will people learn that.”

A few people pointed out the hypocrisy of Harding’s stance given Girls Aloud’s own outfits.

One said: “Sarah Harding slut shaming 5H is the most hypocritical shit I’ve ever heard.”
