A woman from America has recently gone viral because of her tinder bio, and honestly, it beats all dating bios ever.

20-year-old Lauren, who did not share her last name, lost her arm last year in a moped accident.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, she explained that she lost control of the moped and sliced her arm when she came off.

“I was going pretty fast on a moped and lost control of it, and I hit the median in the road.

“I flew off and hit a sign and it sliced my arm off. I stayed conscious the whole time,” she said.

The first responding officer had just received tourniquet training and was able to save Lauren’s life.

Instead of letting the loss of her arm change her life negatively, she has turned to humour and social media.

She jokes openly about learning to live with one arm as a coping mechanism.

Lauren said: “For a while, I wasn’t okay with the jokes.

“But then I started telling the jokes, and it’s kind of helped.”

She added that her online commentary has helped other amputees and those with disabilities.

“I have never really hid it.

“People don’t see that very often, so a lot of people DM me to tell me it’s really helpful to them, people who are also missing limbs or are disabled.”

Lauren went even more viral after a screenshot of her Tinder bio ended up on Reddit.

She explained that she wrote it while drunk, as a way “to address the elephant in the room that I was missing a limb.”

“I got home pretty drunk, and I don’t remember typing it up really,” she said.

“I just woke up to someone DM’ing me a Reddit post asking if it was me, and I was like damn, I guess it is.”

In the bio, Lauren’s works as an “arms dealer”.

“Hands down the best catch on tinder
face 10/10
body 9/10
personality 20/10
arms 1/2,” the description reads.

A picture of the bio has been retweeted thousands of times and many people are applauding her for her hilarious outlook on life.

Some have said they feel uncomfortable laughing about the horrific incident that led to the loss of her arm, but Lauren insists that she is “completely comfortable with it”.

“People always respond like, ‘Oh, I feel bad for laughing’. And I’m like, ‘No! I think it’s funny…I made it!’,” she added.

The dating app recently introduced gender-inclusive options on the platform.
Since the LGBT+ friendly feature was introduced, a quarter of a million trans users have been matched.
