Out singer Frank Ocean has made a statement with a t-shirt worn as he performed at the Panorama Festival.

The ‘Blond’ singer wore a t-shirt designed by out bisexual 18-year-old Afro-Latina entrepreneur Kayla Robinson.

Writing oFrank Oceann Instagram, the shop said: “1. IM ACTUALLY CRYING BC THE LORD HIMSELF IS WEARING MY CREATION 2. If you see any of these pictures can you PLEEEAASE tag our shop bc I would hate for any of the copycats to be credited. THANK YOU.”

Speaking to Complex, Robinson said: “It’s very exciting to see a queer icon like Frank Ocean giving a voice to marginalized groups and using his platform to raise awareness about social justice issues using one of our shirts.

“My business is essentially my life message. I want other companies to know that they can use sustainable/ environmentally friendly business practices (fair trade and/or organic fabrics) and still thrive as a business. The fact that Frank Ocean is contributing to this reality is surreal for me and I am eternally grateful.”

The singer won praise after he discussed his relationship with men on his debut album ‘Channel Orange’.

Kanye West – who contributed to Boys Don’t Cry with a McDonald’s themed poem of his own – has spoken out in support of Ocean, praising the star for combating homophobia in the music industry.
