Bella Thorne has laughed off a video purportedly showing her masturbating that is circulating online.

The Shake It Up actress, who came out as bisexual in 2016, has said that video is fake.

She also said that the most hurtful part of the video is its references to the death of her father.

“Hahahahaha wait you guys think this is real? Hahahaha. I don’t even masterbate like that. Where’s the vibrator thooo,” Thorne said on Twitter

“The worst part of this video is them making fun of the fact that I lost my father. You’re right. Me being daddyless is sooooo funny.”

Thorne’s father died in 2007 in a motorcycle accident.

In 2014, she opened up about how she felt about the tragic loss.

“When my father first died, the day I heard it, I couldn’t cry. It was very odd,” she said.

“You’re still in a state of shock, I think… there are times where I’m completely normal even to this day and I’m just like, ‘Oh, that light post looks nice. I wonder if Daddy would like that light post’.

“And then, all of a sudden, I realise I’m crying…”

The actress hesitated to get a driver’s permit as a result of her father’s passing.

“I have a fear of driving,” she said in 2015.

“My father died in motorcycle accident. I’m not mature enough to accept the responsibility of perhaps taking someone else’s life.”
