A new feature on a dating app lets you connect to doppelgangers of your favourite celebrities.

Badoo announced the new feature which lets you choose a celebrity and view matches that look like them.

And since the app apparently boasts 350 million global users, there should be plenty to choose from.

It uses newly integrated facial recognition software to match up people with celebrities they look like.

Potential downsides are that the app prioritises how closely the match resembles the celebrity over distance from you.

And that person then has to like you back in order for you to chat to them.

According to Badoo, Robert Pattinson is the most searched for doppelganger, as well as Justin Bieber.

Donald Trump is also in the list, but we think this may be people testing out the accuracy of the feature.

“People are looking for quick, fast, and easy ways to start connections,” Badoo’s VP of Product Miles Norris says of the new feature.

“And if someone looks is a good on-boarding to that, then we want to make it easy for them.”

According to the app, Ed Sheeran has 1405 lookalikes, Jake Gyllenhaal has 975 and
David Gandy has 354.

Kylie Jenner has 342 people who look “exactly like her” on Badoo.
