The family of Martyn Hett, who was killed at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on May 22, has said that he will have a “theatrical” funeral.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the funeral of the 29-year old, which will take place in Manchester today.

Martyn’s mother, Figen Murray, told Sky News that the funeral will be conducted according to his wishes.

“He wanted to be cremated, he wanted to have two white horses and he wanted everybody to be dressed in black, with something fabulous.”

She described her son as a “diva” and said that “he has to have an exit like a diva”.

Icons from across the world have paid tribute to Martyn.

They include Mariah Carey, Michelle McManus, and the Coronation Street cast.

His mother got a tattoo as a lasting tribute to her son.

She is still very “angry” with the man who killed her son.

But she said that she is choosing “to forgive him”.

“The man who did this was a young man who was brainwashed and radicalised from an early age,” she said.
