A Brooklyn bank boss has died after a bondage hook-up up with another man.

Neil Rodney Smith, CEO of investment firm Infraccess, was found dead after the encounter at his New York apartment, according to police.

The 57-year-old was discovered lying on his back in bed with a wet towel stuffed in his mouth and a pillow over his face inside the apartment.

Police are now investigating whether the visitor was a prostitue and if the death was as a result of foul play.

A police source told the New York Post: “He went online and hooked up with some guy and, whatever they were doing, he died.”

“A roommate heard a guy in there with him. He heard them having sex,” the source added.

The roommate allegedly reported hearing the men having sex, until the noises unexpectedly stopped.

Smith was later found naked and dead, according to police.

Police are now investigating whether there was foul play in the banker’s death.

Cops are reviewing CCTV cameras from around the building that show a man and a woman outside before the incident happened.

The man can be seen entering the building, while the woman remains outside, according to sources.

“There is video surveillance of a guy and a girl outside the apartment.

“The girl stays out, and the guy goes in,” the police source said.

“There were text messages exchanged and Facebook stuff where he’s hooking up with this guy,” they added.

Text messages and Facebook chat indicate the two men had been exchanging messages prior to the visit.

Police are also investigating whether the visitor was a prostitute.
