Disgraced conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren has been criticised after she hit out at a “crock of crap” Pride march which demonstrated against the Trump Administration.

Lahren, who formerly worked for the Blaze, hit out at the Los Angeles Resist March and the Equality March in Washington, DC, both Pride events which also demonstrated against Trump.

First posting on Twitter, she wrote: “You resist. We persist. Keep crying Snowflakes. #GreatAmerica”.

She later shared a link to a Facebook video in which she hits out at the “crock of crap” demonstrations, writing: “So you turned your gay pride parade into a #ResistMarch huh? I have some Final Thoughts”.

In the video, now viewed 1.4 million times, Lahren criticises the demonstration saying it was against the results of an election “they still can’t accept”.

She also claims that the events didn’t “empower” anyone.

Many took to social media to hit back at Lahren for attacking a Pride event.

One Twitter user wrote: “You must live under a rock if you think people aren’t empowered by these marches, speeches, and activists.”

Another added: “I really wish they were truly your final thoughts publicly. Your 15 minutes seem to be dragging.”

Others specifically pointed to reasons the Pride marches were used as resist demonstrations, noting Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ refusal last week to say whether she would protect LGBT+ students against discrimination and Trump’s rolling back on Obama Administration executive orders protecting LGBT workers and trans students.

Lahren has found herself in hot water recently after she admitted on the View on St Patrick’s Day that she was pro-choice.

Check out the rant below, if you feel you have to:

She said: “I’m … you know, someone that loves the Constitution and I am someone that’s for limited government, and so I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say ‘I’m for limited government, but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies,’” she said. “I can sit here and say that, as a Republican, and I can say that, ‘You know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.’”

Lahren was later suspended from her show on The Blaze.

She was featured talking to Jazz Jennings, a transgender teenager, in the third season of ‘I Am Jazz’.
