Gay porn stars Brent Corrigan and JJ Knight have announced that they are engaged.
The two actors announced their happy news on Knight’s Instagram page, where he frequently writes loving letters to his partner.
In the post, which was shared alongside a picture of the couple together, Knight wrote that their lives with each other were far from “ordinary”.
“It’s true we don’t have it as easy as ordinary couples,” he wrote.
“But I can promise you that this is no ordinary love!!
“He is the man of my dreams and I am proud to call him my fiancé,” Knight added.
Knight revealed that the pair had been engaged since February when he proposed in Sydney.
The couple, who revealed that they were dating last year, have not started plans for the wedding yet.
Speaking to Str8UpGayPorn, Knight explained that they had not gone public with their happy news yet because it was Knight’s first serious long-term relationship, and so the couple wanted to be sure.
“Brent was a bit hesitant at first, considering it’s my first long-term relationship,” he said.
Knight added that Corrigan had experienced a few difficult relationships in the past.
“He has been through a couple that hasn’t ended so well. But from that first kiss on set, I just knew that this is the man of my dreams.”
Knight added that they were excited to begin their journey as a married couple.
“Right now we’re just happy together, and excited to see the future we can build together in and out of the industry,” he added.
Corrigan recently attacked James Franco’s new porn drama, King Cobra, which is based on Corrigan’s early years in adult film.
The film follows the true story of the murder of the gay porn baron Bryan Kocis.
Corrigan, real name Sean Paul Lockhart, lashed out the production and accused it of “bastardising” his early years in porn.
