Olympic diving star Tom Daley has opened up about his first visit to a gay bar.

The new husband to Dustin Lance Black came out in a YouTube video five years ago, and has been in a relationship with the Oscar winner since.

The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony last week, before purchasing a home together for newly married life.

Daley was reluctant to share details of his LGBT life at first, but now he’s revealed more about his coming out process.

The 23-year-old has made a brand new playlist of his favourite LGBT pride anthems for Spotify.

He reveals in the playlist: “This next song is Satisfaction by Benny Benassi.

“This was one of the songs that first played when I went to my first ever gay bar and it brings down a lot of memories.”

The 2002 DJ hit is one of the best-selling songs of the 21st Century.

Daley also reveals in the new playlist that music has helped him come to terms with his identity.

“If the music’s playing and I’m having a good time, I’m proud to be whoever I want to be in that moment,” he says.

Daley and Dustin Lance Black recently shared the first pictures of their wedding day.

The couple had their wedding in Bovey Castle, Devon, on the UK’s south coast.

Revealing the first snaps of their special day, Daley wrote: “05.06.17 the day I married the love of my life ❤️ shared with 120 of our closest family and friends from Texarkana to Plymouth!”

In another post, he wrote that the day had been “unforgettable”.

Sharing a shot of the pair holding each other close, Lance Black wrote: “6th of May 2017. When my hopes and dreams of “Maybe one day…” came true.”
