Sir Elton John pays emotional tribute to Manchester and London bombing victims

Sir Elton John has paid an emotional tribute to victims of the Manchester and London attacks.
The 70-year-old legendary singer was performing at the Derby 3aaa County Ground when he made the remarks.
The concert is one of his first since surviving a near fatal viral infection while touring in South America.
Sir Elton told the crowds: “It would be remiss of me to not mention these events.
“It was a tragic and awful thing to happen. We live in really strange times.
“A song can be remembered forever but it cannot replace a loved one.”
He dedicated the hit song I Want Love to victims of the terrorist attacks.
22 people were killed in the bombing of an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, while seven are now confirmed dead in the London Bridge bombimg.
During the weekend he also opened up about his friend George Michael.
The Tiny Dancer singer halted his major Twickenham show, the day before he performed in Derby, to pay tribute to the late singer.
The 70-year-old singer had known the late Wham! star since the start of his career.
He told the gathered crowds at his concert: “I haven’t had the chance to play Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me in England since George died.
“It is such a big part of him and a big part of me.
“Losing him was one of the most devastating things that had happened to me for a long long time.”
The two out performers had known each other for decades, but they had not always got along well.
