An eight-year-old drag queen is getting a lot of love online, after stealing the show during a Bianca Del Rio comedy set.

The eight-year-old explained that his drag name was ‘Lactatia’, winning hearts in the audience with his sassy answers.
Bianca said: “I absolutely adore you. I love the fact that you’re here, and what I love most about this is that your mum is here supporting you. ”
It turns out that the aspiring drag queen, real name Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden, is a young Drag Race obsessive who is supported by his mum and big sister.
After the clip was shared online, the boy’s parents have spoken out to defend their son from critics.
Speaking to Beskept Montreal, his parents Jessica Mélançon and Coriander Golden explained Nemis had grown up wearing his older sister’s fancy dress outfits.
They explained: “Drag for Nemis, is about the performance, the character…. as far as gender roles go, we’ve gifted both of our children with the ideal that there’s nothing just for girls and nothing just for boys.
“He grew up wearing his sister’s hand me down princess costumes and fancy shoes while playing with monster trucks and riding a skateboard.”

They added: “Did we know it would lead to him being passionate about becoming the greatest drag queen the world has ever seen?
“No, but we were one hundred percent certain that Nemis was a natural performer, had the ability to captivate a crowd and was the most self-aware person we knew.”
“And as far as sexuality and drag go, Nemis understands that a majority of queens are gay… [but] he doesn’t feel like he’s gay. Maybe he will in the future? Who knows.
“Luckily for him, he has his whole life to figure out that aspect of himself, but for the time being, he’s content to find heels in his size and own his s**t!”
His mum added: “At the end of the day, I’m hoping that Nemis inspires more parents to be unconditionally accepting of their children and inspires more kids to embrace themselves completely!”
