A Disney-obsessed man popped the question to his boyfriend at Disneyland in a truly heartwarming style.

Reddit user Eugenius310 shared the incredible moment that he popped the question in style to his boyfriend Chris.

He sprung the surprise proposal on his partner during a trip to Disneyland, during a ride on the log flume Splash Mountain.

While his boyfriend was distracted by a drop, he whipped out a sign reading ‘Chris, will you marry me?’, in time for the theme park camera to pick up the message.

He explained: “I proposed to my beautiful and amazing boyfriend at Disneyland yesterday with the help of my niece and nephews who helped me make the sign.”

He continued: “He had no idea I was proposing and I told him that we should make ‘shocked’ faces for the camera.

“Little did he know I was going to be behind him proposing with a sign!

“I quickly hid the sign away after the drop and when we exited the ride we walked to see our photo and he was shocked.

“I got down on one knee and asked him to spend the rest of his life with me. He said, ‘yes’.”

It’s not the first time Splash Mountain has been used for such a momentous life moment.

As we reported last year, a teenage girl utilised Splash Mountain at Disneyland as she came out as gay.

16-year-old Gina designed a rainbow-themed sign bearing the words ‘I’m Gay’ and smuggled it away for the perfect moment.

The perfect moment, it turns out, was when the pair were partway down the drop on water ride Splash Mountain.

Disney theme parks have come under fire in the past for permitting unofficial ‘Gay Days’ for Disney-obsessed gay fans.

Puritanical pro-censorship body one Million Moms launched a ‘boycott’ over the issue, saying: “Disney has been irresponsible for far too long. Disney representatives and security need to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere and require proper conduct and dress code on a daily basis.”
