Fans were left fearing for his wellbeing after he disappeared from Twitter.

The partner of the late Wham! star posted a number of Tweets on the site, writing in one: “Please forgive me for what i am going to do”.

He then deleted the account altogether and stopped posting on his other platforms.

Today Fawaz re-activated his account to mark his first birthday without his other half.

The Lebanon-born model and photographer posted a heartbreaking update.

Reflecting on his birthday shared with Michael in 2012, he shared a post by the star.

George Michael wrote: “Morning everyone, today is a special day in my part of the world…..my better half’s birthday!”

In a heart-wrenching caption alongside the image of the tweet, Fawaz wrote that he still loved the singer, tweeting: “My best birthday gift I ever received . I love you George.”

Nawaz previously broke his online silence to post a mysterious home video.

In the video, a collection of circular mirrors can be seen, with music playing in the background and dimmed lighting.

Close inspection suggests Fawaz is topless while filming the bizarre clip.

It’s not clear if the home in the video is one he shared with George Michael.

The fine art photographer caused fans and loved ones panic a with a five-hour meltdown recently.

Between 2am and 7am on May 10 he posted a string of unusual comments, writing in one: “Please forgive me for what i am going to do”.

Fawaz wrote in one post: “I am done with you god i really am,” adding in another, “God you took the most beautiful person from me so now i ask you to be kind.”

Fans of George Michael were left perplexed and worried by the online comments.

They pleaded with him to not “do anything stupid” as hundreds of replies and interactions were sent to Fawaz.

One wrote “You’re scaring us Fadi”.

According to The Sun, relatives of singing legend Michael have asked Fawaz to vacate the property he shared so they can put the home up for sale.

“Fadi will be so sad as he loves the Regent’s Park house and it holds so many fond memories spent there with George”, a source told The Sun on Sunday.

“But although the news is devastating he won’t want to make any issue of it with George’s family if that’s what they decide to do.”

Although Mr Fawaz was allowed to the funeral – after claims he would not be – he did not attend the wake.

The singer’s childhood friend, Andros Georgiou, claimed the Michael family “hate him” and he “was not really his boyfriend”.
