Kylie Jenner breaks Met Gala rules to post mixed-gender bathroom selfie

Tell me again why gender-neutral bathrooms are a bad idea, anti-LGBT activists.

No, really: I’ll wait.

Last night’s Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art‬‬ had just the one bathroom, model Hailey Baldwin told E! News on the red carpet.

And the result was glorious.

Just look at this collection of beautiful, happy celebrities having a great time.

Kylie Jenner promised she would deliver her yearly selfie despite the event’s organisers urging her not to, and thank goodness she did.

As well as Kylie and her sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kendall Jenner, adoring fans were treated to a constellation of other stars enjoying themselves.

Frank Ocean, fresh from leaving his mum unimpressed by joking about anal sex in his latest podcast, is smiling broadly to the right of Sean “Diddy” Coombs.

Ocean, who has just released his third single of 2017, was heard making the quip on his Beats 1 show Blonded Radio.

And unlike on the red carpet, where poses are somewhat formulaic, celebrities could break the mould.

For instance, models Slick Woods (pretty in pink hair) and Lily Aldridge – somehow getting up high at the back – are just having fun.

Rapper A$AP Rocky and models Paris Jackson and Luka Sabbat were celebrating the event – and somehow not freaking out about being next to other genders.

Moonlight actor Ashton Sanders, as well as fellow thespians Brie Larson and Michelle Monaghan, were also living life to the fullest, without a care in the world.

“I’m framing this,” one fan commented on the post.

So say we all.
