Chat show host Ellen DeGeneres has put her home up for sale – but it looks like nobody wants to buy it.

The home boasts two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen and floor to ceiling windows.

The building comes with a groundskeeper and 24-hour security, too.

Ellen bought the property with wife Portia De Rossi, whom she shared it with, back in 2014 for $6.2m.

Later that year she tried to sell it for $7.5m, but nobody wanted to buy the apartment.

It’s now back on sale for a knocked down price of $7m, in the hope that someone will finally buy.

Despite the price falling over the years, the couple would still take home a cool half a million dollars profit on the venture.

And if you want a short-term way to get your hands on the property, there’s also the option to lease the condo for $23,500 per month if a shorter stay is more your style.

The sale comes after Ellen received the honour of her life late last year, when outoing president Barack Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The chat show host, who recently did an amazing take down of United airlines, has also listed their much larger home in Santa Barbara, California, with Sotherby’s for an incredible £36m ($45m).

She moved into the 10,000 square foot home less than five years ago, and once called it her “forever” home.

The mansion features a main house with six bedrooms, nine fireplaces, and an 800-square-foot living room, a swimming pool, classic fountains and sunken tennis courts, all set in 17 acres of grounds.

Ellen said: “The house is always surprising. It reveals itself to you in new ways every day.

“It’s not overly manicured or tidy. It’s not overly precious or perfect.

“And it’s a home that manages to be both spacious and cosy at once.”

Ellen recently had to be rushed to hospital after the most Ellen injury ever, involving a lot of fun and some wine.

She added: “The surrounding gardens and olive trees are almost as wonderful as the interior.

“The house truly feels like it was built out of the landscape, rather than plopped on a plot.

“It feels ancient, like it’s been there forever. Like that hill was never without the house. This is a home that honours nature, and I love that.”
