Apparently the kids and grandkids of Trump opposers are going to hell

According to a self-proclaimed “conservative activist”, those who oppose Trump’s presidency or campaign have a harsh reality to face up to.

Mary Colbert, appearing on the Jim Bakker Show, explained that anyone opposed to Trump, “a chosen one”, as well as their kids or grandkids, will end up in hell.

Speaking on the show, she begins: “It’s not that Donald Trump is all that perfect of a guy.”

Adding: “We all know he’s not. And we know that he’s not necessarily perfect in every way that we would like. That’s not how God works. He works through the ones he chooses. We don’t choose them.”

Before she says: “All we have to do is recognise them and when you recognise a chosen one and you have the discernment to know that they’ve been chosen and know that that’s the will of God, then your life will be blessed.

“And if you come against the chosen one of God, you are bringing upon you and your children and your children’s children curses like you have never seen. It puts a holy fear in me.”

Wow.

Less than two months after directly promising he would not repeal Obama’s discrimination protections for LGBT workers, Donald Trump has quietly revoked part of Obama’s discrimination protections for LGBT workers.

Barack Obama signed a series of executive orders in 2014 ensuring that employees of federal contractors are protected by LGBT anti-discrimination legislation, after Republicans in Congress shot down legislation on the issue.

After taking office earlier this year, Trump explicitly ruled out a move to revoke the protections.

An official White House statement on January 31 pledged: “President Donald J. Trump is determined to protect the rights of all Americans, including the LGBTQ community. The executive order signed in 2014, which protects employees from anti-LGBTQ workplace discrimination while working for federal contractors, will remain intact at the direction of President Donald J. Trump.”

Less than two months later, however, Trump has already slid back on the promise, this week officially revoking the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces order that was a key part of protecting LGBT workers.

Trump has also nominated an anti-gay Republican lawmaker as the United States Secretary of the Army, replacing the first openly gay man to hold the post.

Eric Fanning made history when Barack Obama nominated him as the United States Secretary of the Army in May last year, making history as the first out man to head a military branch.

However, Mr Fanning was turfed out of his job when Donald Trump took office, with billionaire hockey club owner Vincent Viola serving in the interim role.

According to The Tennessean, he nominated Tennessee state senator Mark Green, a strongly anti-LGBT Republican lawmaker, to fill the role full-time.
