JK Rowling is known for not pulling any punches when it comes to her Twitter account.

And as we know, the President of the United States is no exception to the Harry Potter author’s rule.

So her latest comparison rings fairly true when it comes to President Trump’s team and their alleged meetings with Russians.

But it is also kind of scary.

On Sunday, the President tweeted: “Who was it that secretly said to Russian President, ‘Tell Vladimir that after the election I’ll have more flexibility?’”

Responding, Rowling tweeted something which perhaps mainly British followers would get.

She wrote: “I’ve just realised who he is. He’s Vicky Pollard,” referring to the Matt Lucas character from Little Britain.

Rowling later tweeted: “OhmyGod I SO can’t believe you think I’m in bed with Putin bcos there’s this whole thing with Obama that you don’t even know nothing about.”

British journalist and Good Morning Britain host Morgan clashed with esteemed writer and everyday badass JK Rowling last month after he was told to “f*ck off” live on TV.

Morgan appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher in an attempt to defend President Trump’s executive order, which has been coined the Muslim ban by many.

The author of the famed 50 Shades series joined forces with Rowling in trolling Morgan.

Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions this week denied misleading a Congressional hearing on his meetings with Russia.

Sessions last week declined to participate in an FBI investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

It is the latest in a string of harmful scandals, fuelling stories about Russian influence in Trump’s White House.

Trump’s National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was previously forced to resign over secret communications with Russia, while last year Trump was forced to ditch campaign chief Paul Manafort after his ties to Russia became the subject of a CIA probe.
