Donald Trump is set to re-introduce his controversial travel ban.

The original order banned people coming in to the US from seven Muslim-majority countries.

A revised executive order that once again temporarily bars the entry of people from these countries, halting the nation’s refugee programme, is set to go to President Donald Trump today, the Telegraph says.

A White House spokesperson, who isn’t named, says the new order is on track to be rolled out Monday.

The ban has been widely criticised, including by LGBT rights groups who says it amounts to a death sentence for LGBT refugees unable to leave their countries.

Trump had pledged to re-introduce the ban ever since the original was overturned by the courts.

The administration has repeatedly pushed back the new signing, however, as it worked to coordinate better with the agencies that it will need to implement the ban.

Trump has also reportedly pushed back his state visit to the UK, after his remarks saw a petition signed by some two million people calling for him to be barred entry.

The UK government rejected the calls, while the Speaker of the House of Commons said “racism and sexism” of Trump’s kind should not be welcomed.

He has now been effectively barred from addressing both houses of parliament.

Just days after claiming to be an LGBT rights supporter, Mr Trump axed protections for trans people.

Now even Caitlyn Jenner has slammed the POTUS for his decisions, telling him to “call me”.
