Oprah Winfrey has revealed thoughts about being the next President.

The legendary talk show host, 63, had previously said she’d never consider running for the top job.

But she’s now shared her thoughts on running for president in a candid new interview.

Winfrey, a Hillary Clinton supporter, spoke with financier David Rubenstein in December for an interview for his Bloomberg Television show, which aired this week.

Winfrey said: “I never considered the question even a possibility,” she told when asked whether she might consider a run.

“I just thought, ‘Oh… oh?'”

Winfrey added that she had always thought the job would require far more experience than she had – but has recently changed her mind.

Billionaire property magnate Donald Trump had never been elected to any level of office before November, when he became the 45th president.

“It’s clear you don’t need government experience to be elected president of the United States”, she said.

“That’s what I thought,” she continued.

“I thought, ‘Oh, gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough.’ And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh.'”

Winfrey had been a high-profile supporter of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton over the last three elections, but says she’s voted for Republicans and independents too.

Meanwhile the current president has claimed he’s already achieved ‘almost everything’ as POTUS.

And Oprah isn’t the only celeb rumoured to be eyeing up the biggest jobin politics.

There has also been speculation that Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, rapper Kanye West and Disney chief executive Bob Iger could one day run for the nation’s highest office.
