The Lego Batman Movie is facing a boycott because of supposed “gay propaganda”.

Fundamentalist news site Life Site News penned a warning about the film, which is the sequel to 2014’s critically-acclaimed Lego Movie, and stars Will Arnett as Batman.

The site warns: “BEWARE: LEGO Batman movie promotes gay adoption.

“It was chock full of pro-gay propaganda. Think the sexual innuendo of the Flintstones minus the real humor.

“It seemed the creators were so anxious to subtly indoctrinate the little ones into the gender ideology that making it humorous came as a distant second thought.”

Editor John-Henry Westen appears to have taken offence to the running gag that Bruce Wayne’s adoptive son Robin thinks he has two dads, unaware that Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same person.

He fumed about “orphan adoption by two dads, homoerotic attraction, and penis jokes”.

It’s certainly not the first seemingly-innocuous cartoon to be boycotted by paranoid evangelicals.

A Mormon blogger previously took aim at ‘Frozen’, alleging that it was also pushing a “homosexual agenda”.

They warned: “The gay agenda to normalize homosexuality is woven into Disney’s movie Frozen not just as an underlying message – it is the movie.

“In a liberal culture tenacious at normalizing immorality, stripping those of faith from their ability to speak out in opposition, this needs to be taken seriously.

“I could blatantly see that the homosexual agenda to normalize the practice was not simply an underlying message in the movie Frozen but is the actual story… [Frozen attempts to] woo its intended audience, parents, into a frozen-state, which would then allow liberalism to indoctrinate children.”
