It’s no secret that most of the images we see on social media are a little different from reality.

Now anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label has released a new video exposing just that.

The funny vid, made with BooHoo.com, shows the extents many millennials go to convince others how perfect their lives are.

Including one person who drags up to post that he’s off for a big night – before taking it all off again to sit on the sofa.

Not to mention the happy #relationshipgoals couple, who actually seem more like they’d rather be alone.

But it’s not all light-hearted.

The charity’s research has found that half of all young people want to change their physical appearance in some way, frequently using editing and filters to make themselves look better.

Ditch the Label also carried out research into young people’s understanding of sexuality.

It found most people between 13 and 26 wouldn’t use the label “straight” to describe themselves.
